Italian smoked salt | fine | 1-2 mm | cold smoked

Natural sea salt from the salt marshes of the Mediterranean Sea is smoked by an experienced master smoker in the south of Italy for 5-6 days with pure beechwood chips. This gives the salt an intense smoke aroma and smoky taste, reminiscent of freshly smoked food. This wonderful smoked salt can give vegan or vegetarian dishes a strong and tasty aroma without resorting to animal products. The production of smoked salt is very time-consuming and costly, the production of smoked salt is limited to a few hundred kilograms per week. No chemical additives or flavour enhancers are used.
