Our Swabian smoked salt is obtained from natural sea salt from the Mediterranean coasts of southern Italy and refined by a small smokehouse near the Swabian Alb according to an old smoking tradition. The sea salt remains in the smoking chamber for 6-7 days to mature with finest fir and beech smoke to an intensive taste experience. Swabian smoked salt harmonizes perfectly with egg dishes, mushroom dishes, stews and of course with typical Swabian dishes such as lentils with noodles and sausages.
