Cubic halite rock salt chunks 2–5 cm from Pakistan

Product information "Cubic halite rock salt chunks 2–5 cm from Pakistan"

Product description

Discover cubic halite as a pure natural rock salt from Pakistan with clear, cube-shaped chunks of around 2–5 cm. The white, glass-like crystals are particularly decorative in glass jars and salt containers.

Thanks to careful selection of the deposits and purely mechanical processing, Biova offers a very pure rock salt with a high sodium chloride content. The coarse grade in whole chunks allows flexible dosing, from use in a salt mill through to preparing concentrated brine.

You can use halite both as a conscious choice in the kitchen as table salt and for brine applications and baths. This way you combine functional use with the clean, structured and aesthetic look of the cubic crystals.

Origin

This rock salt comes from deep deposits in Pakistan that formed over millions of years under high pressure. The region’s dry climate favours the formation of exceptionally clear halite crystals, which Biova sources from selected mining areas.

Cultivation / production / harvest

Halite is extracted by underground mining directly from massive rock formations and then graded into chunks of around 2–5 cm. After thorough, purely mechanical cleaning, the rock salt is packed in bulk at approx. 1.05 kg per unit.

Special features

Its defining feature is the clear, cubic crystals with a natural NaCl content of up to 99.9%. The white, glass-clear chunks stand out clearly from pink or grey rock salts and are ideal for premium brine and decorative applications with Biova rock salts.

Differences in origin and processing

Unlike sea salt or evaporated salt, this rock salt is not obtained from seawater but broken directly from solid rock. The Pakistani deposits yield particularly pure halite crystals, which Biova processes exclusively mechanically and without chemical additives.

Taste & aroma

Halite offers an intense, clean saltiness with no noticeable off-notes and is odourless. It supports the natural flavours of food and allows precise dosing, whether in a mill or slowly dissolved in water.

Possible uses

  • Preparing brine solutions for drinking brine or applications according to your own recipes
  • Preparing relaxing full, partial or foot baths with halite brine
  • Using the chunks in a salt mill or as a decorative table salt in the kitchen
