Product information "Cubic halite rock salt fine 0.3–0.5 mm"
Product description
Discover cubic halite, an exceptionally pure rock salt from Pakistan with up to 99.9% sodium chloride. The crystal-clear white crystals are milled to a fine grain size of 0.3–0.5 mm and visually resemble tiny diamonds.
Thanks to its high natural purity, clean salt flavour and fine, flaky texture, this Biova rock salt can be dosed with great precision. It dissolves quickly in water and food and is ideal as a premium table salt for everyday use in professional and home kitchens.
In the kitchen, halite salt enhances soups, sauces, vegetable, meat and fish dishes as well as salads and dips. Its fine grain also makes it highly versatile for brine solutions and as a base for seasoning salts in salt mills.
Origin
This cubic halite salt comes from traditional rock salt deposits in Pakistan, renowned for particularly pure, white salt reserves. Formed at great depth, these deposits produce clear crystals with a high NaCl content and consistent quality for Biova.
Cultivation / Production / Harvest
As a classic rock salt, halite is mined underground, then crushed, cleaned and graded. The salt is then milled to a fine grain size of 0.3–0.5 mm and packed as bulk product in units of approx. 1.05 kg for Biova.
Characteristics
Typical features are the very high natural NaCl content of up to 99.9%, the crystal-clear white colour and the cubic crystal structure. The fine, flaky grain ensures rapid solubility and makes this white rock salt ideal for precise seasoning and brine applications.
Differences in origin and processing
Unlike sea salt or evaporated salt, this rock salt is extracted directly from underground deposits and not obtained by evaporating seawater. The Pakistani deposits provide a neutral-tasting, intensely salty product whose targeted milling to 0.3–0.5 mm delivers a different texture from coarse crystals.
Taste & aroma
Cubic halite salt offers an intense, pure salt flavour with no distracting off-notes. It supports the natural taste of ingredients without overpowering them, feels clean and direct on the palate and is neutral in aroma.

- For everyday seasoning of soups, sauces, vegetable, meat and fish dishes in professional and home kitchens
