Product information "Habanero Red Savina | crushed| 2-5 mm | red| Scoville: 200,000-250,000"

What it is / Product description

Habanero Red Savina is one of the extremely hot chilies and is offered by Biova as a coarsely crushed chili granulate. The bright red pieces from Ecuador combine intense heat with fruity-tropical aromas and a grain size of around 2–5 mm. This gives you a professional chili seasoning that impresses in sophisticated recipes both visually and in terms of taste.

With a heat level of approx. 150,000–320,000 Scoville, this chili seasoning lies in the 100,001–500,000 range and is therefore one of the very hot varieties. Gentle drying and processing into coarse granules ensure stable color, intense aroma and easy dosing, even as bulk goods in the kg range. Biova relies on carefully selected raw materials and controlled cultivation to support consistent quality for gastronomy, manufacturers and further processing.

Wherever you like it really fiery, this Habanero granulate plays to its strengths – from Mexican salsas and BBQ rubs to spicy stews and curries. Thanks to the coarse grain size, heat, appearance and texture can be precisely controlled and adapted to the desired flavor profile. This allows you to refine your recipes with a characteristic, long-lasting chili kick from Biova.

Origin

The chilies come from Ecuador, where warm temperatures, plenty of sunshine and suitable altitudes provide ideal conditions for very hot varieties. The climate supports even ripening and an intense red coloration of the fruits, which has a positive effect on aroma and heat.

Cultivation / Production / Harvest

The plants are cultivated in selected regions of Ecuador and harvested by hand at full ripeness. The pods are then gently dried and processed into coarsely granulated, crushed chili with a defined grain size of 2–5 mm – ideal for use as bulk goods in larger production quantities.

Special features

The Red Savina variety is known for its extreme heat and fruity-tropical profile. Even small amounts are enough to significantly increase the heat of recipes. The coarse structure makes handling easier in both professional and home kitchens and fits perfectly into the Biova range of high-quality chili seasonings.

Differences in origin and processing

Depending on the growing region, habaneros can vary in aroma, fruitiness and heat; Ecuadorian produce offers a harmonious combination of sweetness and heat. Controlled drying and the defined granulate ensure reproducible results in food production and make it easier to standardize recipes.

Taste & aroma

Sensorially, it shows an intensely fruity aroma reminiscent of tropical fruits with clearly perceptible, long-lasting heat. On the nose, it develops a spicy-fruity, slightly smoky chili scent that gives dishes a distinctive, hot-fruity character.

Possible applications

  • Production of hot sauces, dips and salsas in gastronomy and manufactories
  • Seasoning marinades, rubs and BBQ recipes for meat, poultry or vegetables
  • Use in stews, curries, chili con carne or spicy soups for intense heat
