Jalapeno chili | crushed | 1-3 mm | green | Scoville Units: 15.000-40.000

Product information "Jalapeno chili | crushed | 1-3 mm | green | Scoville Units: 15.000-40.000"

What it is / Product description

Jalapeno chili in green, crushed form is an aromatic chili spice with a fruity, piquant heat. The coarse granules of around 1–3 mm come from controlled cultivation in China and are carefully processed for Biova. The natural green color and the typical jalapeno aroma are largely preserved.

With a heat level of approx. 15,000–40,000 Scoville, this chili is in the medium to upper range and allows for a clearly perceptible yet easy-to-dose heat. The granulated, coarse grain size makes the spice free-flowing and ideal for bulk applications in gastronomy, artisan production and large-scale kitchens. This way you receive a reliable Biova product with consistent quality and a uniform heat profile.

In the kitchen, jalapeno chili is excellent for Tex-Mex dishes, stews and barbecue recipes. The granules can be sprinkled directly over dishes or incorporated into marinades, rubs and sauces, where they distribute evenly. This gives your dishes an authentic, Mexican-inspired note with green jalapeno chili.

Origin

The jalapeno pods are grown in China, where warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine provide optimal conditions for chili plants. These climatic conditions promote even ripening and a stable aroma. Via established Biova supply chains, the bulk goods are supplied reliably and with consistent quality.

Cultivation / Production / Harvest

The chilies grow in open fields and are harvested once they have developed their typical green jalapeno aroma. The pods are then gently dried to preserve color and heat. After drying, they are coarsely crushed to 1–3 mm, sieved and filled as free-flowing Biova bulk goods.

Special features

Characteristic is the green color of the jalapeno chili, which brings a fresh, slightly grassy aroma. The granulated, coarse grain size provides visible chili pieces and a pleasant bite in sauces, dips or fillings. As a bulk variant from Biova, this product is specifically tailored to the requirements of commercial customers.

Differences in origin and processing

Jalapenos originally come from Mexico, but cultivation in China enables economical and continuous supply. Differences arise mainly from drying time and degree of crushing, which influence texture, color and perception of heat. The granulated form chosen for Biova combines intense seasoning power with good dose control.

Taste & aroma

In terms of taste, the jalapeno chili granules are fruity and piquant with clearly noticeable yet still well-controllable heat. The green variety adds slightly grassy, freshly spicy notes reminiscent of classic Tex-Mex spice blends. In aroma, the granules are fragrant, dry-spicy and pleasantly typical of chili.
