Cultivation / Production / Harvest
In the seawater saltworks, Mediterranean seawater is directed into shallow basins and evaporated exclusively by sun and wind. After crystallization, the salt is harvested by hand, gently dried and then milled to a fine grain size of 0.2–1.0 mm. Processing takes place without additives and is designed to preserve the natural composition of the sea salt.
