Origin

The sea salt comes from sea saltworks in Croatia, located in shallow lagoons on the Adriatic coast. Cultivation / Production / Harvest

Production follows traditional methods: seawater is channelled into ponds and concentrated exclusively by sun and wind. When the salt crystals form, the salt is harvested by hand using wooden tools. It is then dried, sieved and processed into a coarse 2–4 mm granulate, which is particularly suitable as granulated sea salt for mills.
