Cultivation / Production / Harvest
In the saltworks, seawater is channeled into shallow basins and concentrated solely by sun and wind. After crystallization, the salt is harvested by hand, gently dried and then sieved to the desired medium grain size of 1.0–1.6 mm. Chemical additives, anti-caking agents or technical vacuum evaporation are consistently avoided.
