Organic Roast Vegetable is a coarse organic seasoning blend for colourful vegetables roasted in the oven or cooked on the grill. Sun-ripened tomato and bell pepper combine with Mediterranean herbs and a subtle smoky note.

The Biova seasoning blend is mixed from certified organic ingredients with no additives and supplied as a stable bulk product. The coarse granulation ensures even distribution, visible herb pieces and an attractive appearance on the vegetables.

Use this organic seasoning blend for classic tray-baked vegetables, roast potatoes, grilled vegetables or vegetable bakes. It lets you season quickly and consistently in everyday kitchen use without having to combine multiple individual spices.

Origin

The seasoning blend is mixed and packed in Germany by Biova. The herbs and spices come from certified organic farming in Europe and selected regions worldwide.

Cultivation / production / harvest

The organic ingredients are grown according to ecological standards, mostly sun-dried, cleaned and gently crushed. In Biova’s production facility they are processed into coarse-granulated batches, which are filled as 1.05 kg bulk packs.

Characteristics

Typical for this blend is the combination of Mediterranean organic herbs, fruity tomato and bell pepper plus the subtle smoky note from smoked salt. The colourful, granulated structure remains visible during cooking and clearly differs from fine powder mixes.

Differences in origin and processing

Depending on the origin of the herbs, fine flavour nuances vary, such as more intense rosemary from southern regions or robust oregano from Mediterranean countries. Thanks to central blending in Germany, the flavour profile of the Biova seasoning blend nevertheless remains consistent.

Taste & aroma

On the nose, fruity tomato and bell pepper notes dominate, rounded off with savoury onion and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it offers balanced herbal seasoning with a gentle chilli heat, a subtle smoked-salt note and warm nuances of nutmeg and cinnamon.
